The Lotus Technical Services commissioning and start-up process is a quality oriented process for achieving, verifying, and documenting that the facilities, systems and assemblies meet designed specifications, objectives, and criteria. It ensures the entire facility starts its life cycle at the highest performance level possible while improving the facility delivery process, increasing systems reliability, improving energy performance, ensuring good environmental quality, and improving sustained operation and maintenance of the facility.
At the outset of every building commissioning project, and in conjunction with the Owner, Engineer, and Construction Manager, we develop a detailed commissioning plan and start-up schedule which outlines the commissioning sequence and process by which the commissioning activities will be executed. Lotus Technical Services uses specific commissioning procedures (tailored for the requirements of the individual systems) to verify the basis of design and the owners project requirements are met.
Our LEED AP certified technicians and engineers are well versed in United States Green Building Council's LEED® Green Building Rating System and we ensure that the prerequisite of Fundamental Commissioning is achieved on all of our LEED® projects. As the Commissioning Authority (CxA) we can also provide services prior to 50% design completion should the project be pursuing the credit for Enhanced Commissioning (EAc3).
Whether it’s a Greenfield, Brownfield, or Retro-commissioning project, LTS has the necessary experience, people, and procedures to ensure that your project be successful.
We are happy to provide information on successfully completed projects and deliver references upon request.
